Obituary of Charlotte Truschke

Charlotte F. Truschke (nee Lunger) Age 79, of Crest Hill, peacefully at rest on Monday, March 10, 2014 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, with her family by her side. Born September 6, 1934 in Chicago, IL to the late parents, Georgia and Herschel Lunger, stepfather, Lue B. Richardson. Loving and devoted wife of 52 years to Donald Truschke; cherished mother of Pamela (Daniel Gandolfo) Truschke of Plainfield, Laura (Marvin) Jones of Crest Hill, the late Dwan Steele, and the late Georgia (Chuck) Petretic; stepmother of Donald (Linda ) Truschke , Gary (Diane) Truschke, and Laura Truschke; loving grandma of Johnathan Chirich, and Dawn Petretic; great-grandma of Devon and Nicole Starmann; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; beloved sister of Patricia (the late Edward) Albert of Crest Hill and the late Carlene Westcott; fond aunt of Heather (Bob) Highbaugh; numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Charlotte left many friends and memories at Merichka's Restaurant where she worked for over 30 years. Funeral Services for Charlotte F. Truschke will be Friday, March 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rd., Joliet. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
