I came to know Mr. Wilhelmi from the Laraway School Board and his years of service. In 1979 I became his neighbor. What a neighbor. He was always stopping by to check to see if we were doing well. Always offering vegetables from his garden.
Most of all I remember him and Naomi attending all of the graduation parties and weddings of our three children. That stands out in the minds of me, my wife, Louise and all three of my children, Robin, Leah and Jeremy.
Rest in peace. You are deeply missed. Our prayers are with Mrs. Wilhelmi and the entire family in the days, weeks and years ahead.
