Cubs home openers with Greg and my dad
Blackhawk games (they won't be the same without my Hawk partner)
Helping me with his knowledge and skills on projects at the rental and at my house
Camping (#1 Turkey Run)
Dinners (there were many but when it was the mens choice, MERICHKA'S)
Remember the time we went to Red Lobster because all Greg wanted was oysters. After waiting forever, we finally got a table. The first thing Greg orders is the oysters and the waitress said they were out of them. 7:00 on a Saturday night and Red Lobster is out of oysters. Greg was not happy. Last time ever for Red Lobster.
A work partner
A dinner date
A fellow Hawk and Cub fan
A camping neighbor
An advisor
A mentor
But most of all, a true friend.
He will be deeply missed,
Tim A. Kanive
P.S. If you would like to toast Greg with a drink, Beefeater (gin)
Tonic (must be fresh and bubbly)
Lime wedge
Two green olives (no fancy kinds)

I worked with Greg at the Public Works building the last few years and he was a "stand-up" guy. He knew what he was talking about and very professional with the citizens and the contractors. My sympathies to his wife and family. Randy Jessen
