I had not seen or worked with John for 21 years, but was sad and shocked to hear of his early departure out of our world. I'll never forget the days when we were computer operators in California at the Orange County Department of Education. Rest in peace my former co-worker.
John,
You were the best big brother ever. There are so many things I wish I would have said while you were still here with us, for now I will just say I will miss you so much.
'Til I see you again....
I love you
John. You are missed beyond words. You were an awesome brother, father, son, uncle & friend. Taken from us much to soon. I hope you made it safely to heaven and have already had Grandma's home cooking & you and granddad are kicking back & fishing. I will always love you and never forget all the memories. Not goodbye but until we meet again!!
My condolences go out to Johns Family. I am so sorry for your Loss. I have known John all through School in Dix Hills and he was such a good caring person and he always made me laugh. I will always remember him - R.I.P. John
Very, very sad. Will always have great memories of my cousin though -- from as far back as I can remember he was always a super nice guy with a great sense of humor and attitude. Always smiling and positive, that's how I remember him.
I think my favorite memory of John is playing football in their backyard in Dix Hills, NY one Thanksgiving, when we were kids. He was always up for that. We always got together on Thanksgiving and holidays when we were kids, and it was always fun.
Later when we were older he showed up at Microsoft for a conference when I was working there, 'cept now he was CTO of a hospital/ health care company. Was so proud of him for achieving that.
Our sincere condolences to the family: Jennifer, June, Aunt Lynn and Al, and John's surviving daughter Shannon.
John, my heart aches at the fact that you're gone! I don't have the words to describe how much I will miss you! Thank you for being one of my very best friends and for always making me laugh! I wish this was just a horrible dream that I could wake up from!! Be at peace and send me a funny joke every now and then.
So happy that I got to reconnect with you on FB after so many years. You were taken from your family and friends way too soon. Until we meet again in heaven John. RIP
