Obituary of John Romeo

John D. Romeo Age 50. Suddenly Monday, June 1, 2015 at Morris Hospital. Born in Queens, NY residing in Illinois the past 15 years, living in Channahon for 11 years. An avid fisherman, cook and a muscle car enthusiast. Survived by his daughter, Shannon Romeo of Minooka; his mother, Lynn Pedrick of Krum, TX; his father, Alan Romeo of Justin, TX; two sisters, June Splawn and Jennifer Romeo; uncle of Tommy Barrett and Madison, all of Krum, TX; his girlfriend, Erica Cook of Morris; and his dear friend, Susan Gaskey of Channahon. As it was John's request, Cremation Rites have been accorded. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Family will receive all friends and relatives from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services.
