Obituary of Allen Scheer

Allen E. Scheer Age 82, of Joliet, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Joliet Area Community Hospice home surrounded by his family. Born April 20, 1933 in Green Garden Twp., IL to the late Elda and Raymond Scheer. A U.S. Marine Corp. veteran, he was a retired salesman for the Rainbow Baking Company. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Catherine C. (nee Loeffler); and his parents Survived by his devoted son, Allen of Joliet; son, David of Arizona; loving grandchildren, Nicole of Carterville, IL, Melissa, Kelly and twins, Jenna and Jacob of Romeoville; brother, Lorn (Mary) Scheer of Mountain Home, AR; and a very dear daughter-in-law, Sandra of Romeoville; Family and friends may gather on Saturday, June 13, 2015 for a Memorial Visitation from 9:30 a.m. until time of Memorial Mass 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 600 N. Brookforest Drive, Shorewood followed by Inurnment and military honors under the auspices of the United States Marine Corp in the mausoleum chapel at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
