Obituary of Joshua Watkins

Joshua Thomas Watkins Age 35. At rest Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family after a 10-year battle with a brain tumor. Born August 5, 1979 in Joliet, IL to Michael C. and Kathleen (nee Cann) Watkins. He enjoyed computers, music, playing the guitar and reading science fiction. Survived by his loving wife of six years, Summer C. (nee Overman); one son, Warren Michael Watkins; in-laws, Warren (Heidi) Overman and Deborah Rogers; and sister, Kari (Phillip) Cipriani. A special thank you to Advocate Hospice South for their kind and compassionate care for Joshua. A Memorial Gathering for Joshua T. Watkins will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet until time of service at 3:00 p.m. Private inurnment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
