Obituary of Tommy Powell

Tommy Lee Powell, Sr. Age 72. Passed away after a long battle with numerous health issues on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Joliet Area Community Hospice home. Born in Linton, IN on July 4, 1943 to the late Garry & Pansy Powell, he was a longtime Berwyn resident before retiring to Channahon four years ago. Tom had a love for car racing, Gene & Jude's Hotdogs, and his grandchildren. Survived by one son, Tommy Lee (Renee) Powell, Jr.; stepchildren, Ray (Karen) Neapolitan and Denise (Rory Stark) Neapolitan; and grandchildren, Magnolia, Lily and Tommy Lee Powell, III and Spencer Neapolitan. Preceded by his wife, Josephine; his parents; and one brother, Garry "Jake" Powell. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Fred C.
