I have so many fond memories of Mr. Delrose (Ken). Having Donna as my best friend since 1st grade, I saw Ken (& Rita), quite a bit. I think I was at their house maybe more than they realized. They had 4 out of 6 kids living there during my time! I feel like I was just another friend, pretending I was a Delrose. Every time I saw Ken, he would say in a very loud voice "KRISTA, how are ya, what's new?" "How's your mom and dad?" This was funny to me because Ken and my dad played poker together, once a month, for many years. So chances are, Ken had just been with my dad on a Friday night that month. He was always so full of life! He was a wonderful man, who gave communion every Sunday at mass. He was a devoted husband and father and I will never forget the life he brought to any room! I think he taught me as many life lessons as my own father. I feel like the only thing that was different about the two of them was that Ken was a die hard Cubs fan and my dad is a die hard Sox fan. There proving that Cubs and Sox fans CAN, in fact, get along, and take each other's money from them on a friendly night of poker! He is a man that will be missed by anyone who knew him. I am so sorry for this loss of such a wonderful father, husband and friend. Most importantly, he was a devoted family man, which, to me, is the best quality any human being can have. He will be missed.

Very sad to hear about the passing of Ken. Looking back with fond memories of time spent with Ken and entire Delrose family. Our prayers are with the family and we are sure Ken & Rita are happy to be re-united in heaven. Jean/Tim & Sis.
