Aunt Dorie was always so glad to see us when we paid a visit to her on our trips to Illinois from our home in Florida. She visited our home in Florida once almost 15 years ago. We still have on display the housewarming gift she brought to us. Aunt Dorie was a wonderful cook. She also loved nature: her patio plants and the antics of her squirrels outside her family room window. She loved her family and missed her beloved husband Johnny so much. Aunt Dorie is at peace now because of her faith in her Savior Jesus Christ, and with great joy, she is with her loved ones who have gone Home to Heaven before her.
