My dear brother. What joy you brought into our lives 61 years ago. You were the most fun little boy and what joy it was on my Thursday afternoons off to take you places with me. I am so saddened to know that the dreams that you had for retirement in a calm and peaceful place are not to be, but those places will always be there to remind me of you with thoughts that someday we all will share another peace and tranquility with you.

I worked with Dwight at GE Rail for just over 10 years, and of course, Dwight was there long before me. We didn't work in the same department, but we interacted regularly. I was in Engineering, so we often relied on each other for information and help in getting cars through shop. We also rode the same train, at different times, but when there were GE events, we were able to spend some time together over a train beer. No matter what pressures and chaos work brought, Dwight took it in stride and was able to smile and be kind to those around him. His smile and personality were appreciated by all. He truly was one of the greats and I'm happy for my time working alongside of him. I offer my condolences and sympathies to his family.

To Dwight's family I am so sorry for your loss of this great humble man. He will be missed greatly. if we would have a world full of Dwight's imagine how much better this world would be. I grew up with Dwight and he was always the center of fun and entertainment. we were all so blessed to know him. Now God has him and I am sure he will make heaven a better place if that's possible. To my old buddy. Save a place for me.

Dwights kind Spirit is too large to be gone, that part of him will remain in the hearts of many. Good-bye my friend, I'll expect a cold beer and warm fire to be waiting when we next meet.

Dear Valerie and Family, I would like to express my sympathy to you on the death of Dwight. As you know, Dwight worked with us at GE Railcar. He made great contributions to the business and embodied all that was great about the business. There were employees that the business could not do without and Dwight was one of them. He knew everything you needed to know about railcars and was always willing to offer his expertise to the repair shops and fellow employees. He was an early riser and I often ran into him as I was coming into work.Dwight was there rain or shine with a big smile on his face. He was a big part of the GE Railcar family. Please accept my sincere condolences and the condolences of the rest of the GE Railcar family. Joe Lattanzio
