My condolences to Mrs. Ziesmer and the entire Ziesmer family. Sgt Z was my platoon sergeant in Viet Nam when I was with the 11th CAV. I consider Sgt Z the best platoon sergeant that I ever served under. I'm always at a loss for words when I learn that we have lost another one of our Blackhorse Brothers. I will keep Sgt Z memory in my heart and the Ziesmer family in my prayers.
