You'll always be my favorite Aunt. I'll always remember your kindness and generosity; you're the best and I'll never forget you. It's only been a couple days since you left us but I think of you all the time. I know it will get easier over time but my heart is broken now in a way it hasn't been in a long time. I miss you.

Although I had not thought of Miss Hannon is years, I was taken aback and saddened by the news of her passing. I was as close to her as any student could be to a teacher, spent many hours assisting her in the library and media centers. I was even invited to her home to do some computer work. She held a special place in my heart as a teenager, she will be dearly missed. Prayers for peace for all of the family.

So sad :( If ever there was someone who understood. Who admired people's quirks. Their oddities. Encouraged them to be different and embrace their passions.
I am so sorry for your loss and wish I could be there for the services.

I'm terribly saddened by the passing of Bobbie Hannon. As a teacher for eight years at Wilmington High School, I can confidently state that most people that I worked with were exceptional educators and colleagues. Bobbi was near the top of that list. As a first-year teacher in 2007, Bobbie was paramount to the successes that I experienced early in my career. Whenever I had an idea for a math/science project or activity, I always knew that I could go to Bobbi for suggestions and resources to maximize the efficiency of my instruction. Bobbi was the epitome of high-energy and enthusiasm, and I tried to emulate her in both regards. Even on those days where I felt overwhelmed and stressed, talking to Bobbie for just five minutes could help me snap out it and put my "teaching game face" on prior to class. To be sure, Bobbi was instrumental in helping me find my way in this profession, and as I continue to navigate my way through my career and better myself professionally, I will carry Bobbi's influence with me every step of the way. Thank you, Bobbi. Thank you for being a friend, a colleague, and an influence on not only me, but on all of the people you worked with and the students that you interacted with throughout your career.

To our family who we love and adore more than words can express, your beautiful Mom and our beloved Cousin and Aunt will be deeply missed. She lit up the room when she walked in with that smile that everyone adored. Her heart was solid gold and as big as the wide outdoors. We are going to miss Roberta, Bobbie, Auntie and we know she will reign and shine over us each and every day. She was our world, our rock, and our dear friend. God Bless her and as they say until we meet again. Love you always and forever. Uncle Danny and Aunt Joy
