John was always a cops cop. I worked with him at the 'old' Zone 4. He was a true professional,always ready,prepared and knowledgeable. He brought with him a great sense of humor-and even as he rose in rank-he kept his humility.I remember once watching him bow hunt in a suit/tie -absolutely hilarious ! A great man who loved his family and life. He will be missed.
