Dear Whitman family, friends and loved ones, I am so very sorry to hear of Michael's passing. Mike and I were grade school buddies at Raynor Park, and we both lived on Catherine Street, along with the last official member of the 3 Amigos, and Catherine Street 3, Doug Sievers. We were always together. especially during summer vacation from school. We would explore the Slough across from his home every time we had nothing else better to do. And when we played sandlot baseball behind Doug's house, we always picked Mike to be on our team because Mike was the official home-run hitter every time at bat! Doug's father-in-law, Mr. Carlson, took Mike, Doug and I for an airplane ride many years ago, and had one of the best days together ever.
I think that was the last time I saw Mike in person, and what a beautiful lasting memory it made for the 3 of us. I can really look forward to seeing Mike again when we meet up in Our Heavenly Home, prepared for the 3 of us by Our Father in Heaven, and what a great day that will be, RIP Michael, you earned it, and deserve it, Thank You for being Doug's and my best friend, and thank you for your service in the Marines,
