Michael R. Whitman, Aerospace Logistical Engineer and United States Marine Corps. Veteran, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the age of 59. Preceded in death by his mother, Antonette Ann Whitman.
Survived by his wife, Beverly Whitman of Augusta, KS; father, Robert Wesley Whitman (Eleanor Keagle) of Joliet, IL; sister, Toni (John) Freckelton of Joliet, IL; nieces, Stefanie (Michael) Medina of Oak Lawn, IL, Patricia (Nicholas) Freckelton of Chicago, IL; aunts, Betty Ruppert of Granville, IL, Lucille DiSera of Joliet, IL; uncle, Angelo (Sally) DiSera of Plainfield, IL; numerous cousins; dear friends, Caroline and Colin Ellse; several animal companions; many friends from all over the world.
A Memorial Service for Michael Whitman will be held Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.)
