My name is Byron Brantley Jr., the son of Alfreda Whitsey and grandson of Caressa Nichols Whitsey and I want to express my deepest condolences to the Matthews' and Nichols' family for the passing of Mrs. Juanita Matthews Nichols. As a descendant of the Nichols family, one thing that I've learned from attending the 2017 Galloway Family reunion is that our family is big and runs deep. Deep with love for one another. It is never good to hear about the passing of a loved one. Especially after meeting family members for the first time, all while having a joyous and everlasting time in their presence. So It's sad to me that I had to hear about the passing of Mrs. Juanita just a couple of weeks after attending the family reunion. Family will always be forever and you will forever be remembered. I love you and may your soul Rest In Peace.

Dear Cousins,
My heart truly goes out to you all during this most difficult time. Although, we hadn't seen each other in a while does not mean that you are forgotten! As I watched the wonderful tribute and viewed the beautiful pictures it brought back so many long lasting memories of visiting with Uncle Eddie and Auntie Juanita. We played together and ran throughout your house and had delicious meals prepared by your mom the memory list goes on and on and on! Cry no more because Auntie is in the arms of our Heavenly Father! Love you all dearly and miss you too! Let's get together and rekindle our family! Love, Cousin Alfreda! Daughter of (Caressa Nichols Whitsey) your Fathers Sister

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family! During this time of grief let us remind ourselves that weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. We know that aunt Juanita was a Christian woman who had a personal relationship with Christ. So we can rejoice in the fact that to be absent from the body, is to present with Lord! We love you auntie! Love you family!
