My sincerest condolences to the Diab family. I am so sorry to hear of Salim's passing. He was an inspiration and mentor to so many. A positive light and welcoming spirit that touched many lives. My life was forever changed when I took his Forensic Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry courses at Lewis University. He is without a doubt the reason I had the courage and ability to apply and succeed in graduate school. He was a great professor, an outstanding mentor, and a true friend. May he rest in peace.
