We are very sorry for the loss of Jim. I remember playing Softball with Jim with the Dale a .c . back in the early 70's. Was amazed how fast he could circle the bases with his long stride. then working with Jim at JPD when I was a jailer, going to the YMCA , playing basketball. Remembering later seing Jim at numerous times, always saying hey Rod nice to see you and hows the family doing, seeing Jim and Amy running in tandem around Joliet. He was a great family man and Father ,and great Keeper of peace. Our prayers AMY ,and to your family.

Amy and Family - Our sincerest sympathy!
It was my pleasure serving with Jim at JPD beginning when he interned for me working with PAL.
Amy - I'll never forget how one day he finally yelled at me "shut up!" I was razing him about other guys trying to date you that summer when he was interning in Joliet!
Seriously, from the start, I recognized his intelligence, honesty, integrity, diligence, and resourcefullness he displayed during that summer. I encouraged him to apply to JPD and offered my highest recommendation. I was very happy when he was appointed.
Throughout his career he displayed those fine qualities. It was always a pleasure to work with him, knowing his devotion to duty. He was always a source of valuable information and advice. He gave his all in everything he did.
Please take solace in knowing he helped so many people.
I especially enjoyed his friendship, both professionally and socially.
Sincerely,
Dave and Jane Farmer
