Wow! I’ve never read a better written eulogy. And I’m a writer. Judy reached out to me at Celebrate Recovery eight years ago. She saw something in me that I could not see at the time and inspired me to become a leader in the ministry. I pray to the God of All Comfort for help and healing to all of Judy’s babies.

The world is a little darker because she is gone, but so much brighter because she lived. Suddenly, tragically our lives are bereft of our vivacious sister, mother, wife and friend, Judy Doyle-Bahret, precious to countless whose lives were truly changed because she truly loved others as Christ loved His bride, the Church. In the mysterious providence of God, sadly, Judy lost her battle with the darkness that has gripped her mind for so long, though marvelously the battle for her soul was won millennia ago at Calvary’s cross. By God’s Grace we can confidently declare that Judy is whole in every sense of the word and at peace in the presence of her blessed Savior and Lord that she has so faithfully served for decades. Countless lives have been transformed by her touch with the power and truth of the Gospel. I can truly say my life has been shaped by her her kindness, love and influence Our loss is deep and painful, yet still our hope is fixed on the reality that for those who know and love Him this is no, “Goodbye” but rather “Farewell” until we meet again and worship together on streets of gold.

We are some of your new neighbors in Remington Woods. We are so sorry for the passing of your wife.
We didn't even get a chance to meet the two of you yet.
I'm sure that the two of us would have become fast friends. We had so much in common. I was always the neighbor "mom" to all of my kids friends. My husband and I drive kids to and from school for Kidz Korner Daycare. We also would have church affiliation in common thru both Grace and Minooka Bible.
Again, please accept our deepest heartfelt condolences. And remember there are people in our neighborhood that truly care about you and your family.
Sincerely,
Barry and Jean Olszewski

For the last 10 years, Judy was not only my friend but also my spiritual teacher, counseller, English teacher, and prayer warrior. She knew me more than my husband.
I think my family moving across from Judy's house was God's plan. God blessed me through her. Thank you Judy for your friendship and good memories! You are always with me in my heart. Rest in peace my friend!

I am so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. I know how much you mom meant to you girls. Jamie, I only ever heard your praise for the person she was and how hard she worked and loved everyone around her. Your lives are a tribute to her dedication and hard work of mothering you. It seems she touched many, many lives. I wish I had known her, but I feel like I did through you. You are in my prayers and thoughts with my deepest sympathies.

I believe I'm part Doyle. Not by birth or marriage. By friendship. Through Jamie. And getting to go to many Doyle parties throughout my life. My mom and Judy were two young "cool moms" in the neighborhood growing up, and they often played sports together, as Jamie and I did. I shared her obituary on FB and below is what I wrote. Praying for all you Doyles and Bahrets! Love you all!
Judy was my second mom, two doors away growing up. Her daughter Jamie is my BFF since I was five. I played on the swingset there, basketball in the backyard (not exactly my sport, but whatever...), pool as a teenager in the house, and countless sleepovers where Judy always provided catfood (deliciousness for humans), LARGE bowls of ice cream, influence on my spiritual journey, and endless sources of laughter. She thought it was the coolest thing that I found her so funny. She and my mom were buds. She will be intensely missed. Please pray for the entire family.

Feb. 18, 2018 I lost a piece of my heart my younger sister Judy. She was always so much fun to be around and loved her family. She was the 5th of 10 children I was so excited when my Dad told me I finally had a sister I would have to wait til # 10 to get another sister. I can't imagine family get togethers without her. I pray Bill and her children can remember the good times with her and help each other through this difficult time. My sweet sister you will always be in my heart and in my prayers RIP til we meet again
