To Joe’s Family
Your dad was one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. I had the pleasure of knowing him while he served on the National Roofing Foundation board and I was the staff liaison. My dad had passed from a long battle with cancer, and Joe attended his wake. By coming to offer his condolences, he showed his true compassion for humanity and he left a mark on my heart. Please know all who knew him are better because he lived; he was a role model for all of us and I am grateful to have met him on my life’s journey.

God Bless you Uncle Joe. You gave me so much, but the greatest of all those things was your never ending love and enthusiasm for living the “good” life. I will miss being with you, but also know that our spirits are connected for all eternity.

My deepest sympathy to Joe's family. He was a very special man. His dedication to the University of Notre Dame was so apparent - - he drove to South Bend from Joliet in April to present the history of the Notre Dame Senior Alumni group to the current NDSA Board members. His presentation was marked by his sense of humor, as well as his love for Our Lady's University. Joe will be missed by all.

Sorry for your loss. What a great selfless man Joe was. Always smiling and always putting others ahead of himself. A real Notre Dame guy who lived his life in the service of others. An inspiration to me. I'll light one up for you at the Grotto on my next visit. Go Irish.

To the Adler family. In my 40 years in the roofing industry Mr. Joe Adler was one of the nicest and kindest individuals I had ever met. As a young salesman back in the late 70's early 80's Mr. Adler always had time to sit with me and counsel me on the do's and don'ts of the industry. We talked a lot about football as well. Mr. Adler will be missed for all the good he did on this earth. Rest in peace! God bless you.

To Dan and Family,
What a wonderful life your father led, what an amazing person to raise a large family and accomplish all he did, serve our country, have a business, and give of his time and talents to so many community organizations. The apple did not fall far from his tree, as you Dan from what we know contributed so much to Lincoln Way as your kids made their way through, you raised a family of creative, talented, and from what we know, good people who will carry your parents legacy into the world.
May he rest in peace with our Lord and may you and your family find comfort in all of your memories, we are very sorry for your loss.
Be well Dan, hope our paths cross somewhere along the way.
