We met Charles and Erna many, many years ago as we were close friends with Ronnie. We dearly loved going to their mountain home as they opened up their home and hearts to us. We have so many fond memories and special times shared that will always be remembered and cherished. Erna's cooking was over-the-top fabulous as she put her special touches to everything. Our times together included meals, Bronco games, card games, lots of laughs and game rivalries.
We loved everything about Erna's smile, her laugh and the way her face lit up every time she saw us. We felt so loved and valued. We enjoyed her precious accent, her love of dogs and the outdoor critters, her garden flowers and the mountain way of life she so loved. Once Erna had rescued a fawn that had been orphaned by a devastating fire around her home and she immediately prepared a pen and a make-shift bottle for hand feeding, etc.
We know Erna is with the Lord so we celebrate and look forward to seeing her again.
