I have a lot of memories of Uncle Gary, the one that impacted me the most was that if I wanted to succeed in life I should invest.
1. Invest your time in what’s important to you
2. Invest your resources with your eyes on the long term.
3. Invest in others=pay it forward.
The advice you and Aunt Dart gave kept me from making a big mistake and missing out on the life I always wanted.
Love you and miss you.

My sincerest condolences to Dart,Tim, Rob and family on your loss. Gary was truly a terrific mentor to me when I started my career in the railcar leasing/repair industry. Gary was always available for guidance but he also had a hands-off management style that enabled one to learn, sometimes through some tough lessons. I have had a long career in the rail industry due mainly to the foundation that was built by Gary's guiding hand. I have many great memories made over several years with Gary and Dart (and Gary's team) that I will forever cherish. Rest in Peace my friend.

Gary was a good man who treated everyone as an equal. I don't ever think he thought he was better than anyone. He was very humble, hard working and a lot of fun. Together Gary and Dart were a great team. I know his family and friends will miss him. My prayers go out to Dart and the rest of the Reynolds family.

I first met Gary when he came to Sayre Pa. and was going to hire my dad to run NAC. Shortly after hiring my dad, he hired me.
I’ve had a few mentors in my life, but none like Gary. A caring, humble, and supportive person. And without a doubt, one of the smartest freight car guys I’ve even been around. I say this, as he always debated who was the most knowledgeable freight car person with my Dad. I could go on and on with great memories but I won’t.
Gary was a GREAT boss, mentor, and most important friend. I sure am glad that I saw him a few months ago and talked about old times, as well as the present.
Rest In Peace my friend
We will all miss you

My deepest sympathy to Gary's family & friends. I have nothing but positive memories of Gary from the late 70's & early 80's when my partner, Taylor Kew, and I worked with Gary as consultants to the Car Repair Division of North American Car. Gary was always one of the "good guys!"

I worked with Gary at North American Car from 1973 - 1881 when, for many years, I managed our covered hopper car business. Gary Reynolds was one of the finest gentlemen I have ever know in business. His genuine care for others, his integrity as a person, and his willingness to always “go that extra step” to get everything accomplished has always been a memory of mine. What a great example he set for others and his family. He was a treasure of a man.

I am so sorry to here about Gary’s passing. I have fond memories of him and his brothers and sisters when they lived in Mt. Vernon. Opal and Gib were always my favorite aunt and uncle and all of the kids were my favorite cousins. I hate to admit it but I was unaware of the death of Howard and I also missed it when Michael died.
Gary reminded me a lot of Gib because they both had an incredible sense of humor. I am sorry that I haven’t been able to keep up with the family but time and distance are always a problem.
I will keep the family in my thoughts and I will always remember Gary as a good man from a great family.
