My heart breaks at this news. I vividly remember meeting Shannon for the first time as she bounced into my kindergarten classroom in the frilliest pink dress with eyes dancing and a smile that lit up the room. She was a delight to teach (as was her sister Colleen in second grade). My deepest condolences to Barbara, Shawn, Colleen, and all who loved this precious girl.
