Mike, Kathy, and Julie,
My deepest condolences.
I remember your dad and I signed up for that 1986 marathon on the last day of entry. The thought was that we would run as far as we could. I dropped out around 18 or 19 and walked back what seemed to be another 15 miles to the finish and met up with your dad and Kathy.
During many other runs and races we would pass an animal in the road and one of us would ask the other "Did you put the possum/skunk/squirrel/deer/etc out?"
That running gag still cracks me up.
He'll be in my thoughts and prayers.
How do I contact Mike?

Our deepest sympathy to Kathy, John and family. Jack was a funny man when I was around him. He is one of a handful of people that if I saw him in public, he would call me out by my nickname "Nippers".

Served with Jack in the Illinois General Assembly and considered him a friend. Sorry to learn if his passing.
