Dear Cindi and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss; Jim was such a great guy. Dad thought so much of him and always shared stories of how much fun they had when he was up there visiting. They both loved all things farming and big equipment to drive! I hope your happy memories bring you peace and comfort in the days ahead. My love and prayers are with you all.

Our hearts go out to Cindi and family and all of Jim's family and friends. Jim and I grew up together and were first cousins. Oh the memories! We are in Florida for the winter, but we will be toasting Jim on Friday and on the weekend with his cousin Leanne as well. You are in our hearts and our memories Jim. Neil & Jan Bedeker

I vividly remember myself and several fellow cousins following Uncle Jim around Grandpa Elmers farm looking for things to blow up with the dynamite he brought. This was how Jim Bedeker decided to celebrate 4th of July that particular year! Uncle Jim was always good for a great adventure no matter how old you where. His zest for life and his need to experience it in full throttle will be how I will always remember him.

I worked for Jim for almost 20 years. He was such a kind soul with the heart of a lion. He assisted me and my family during trying times and expected nothing in return. He was never our boss, just the Tall Man who drove “the bus”! Sorry Sally, I mean Coach. Jim was a great man to work for but most all of he was a great PERSON. Give Sally a hug and shake Mikey’s hand for me. Plow them clouds and plant seeds of love.

I am so sorry to hear Jim passed. I caught myself giggling while remembering all the jokes he used to play on Paul in the Joliet office. He was a true gentleman, innovator and devious mischief maker. The perfect combination. Although he was no longer at A&R it was always fun wondering what he was up to at the farm and if he had lost another phone in a combine. Will say a little prayer and have a toast to Jim.
