Mae and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you as you bid a blessed farewell to your beloved daughter Suzanne. Having somehow endured the death of our son Glenn over twelve years ago, we can at least partially identify with your overwhelming grief and heartache. Life can certainly be so very difficult and unpredictable at times like these.
As you adjust to her absence in your lives, may pleasant and lasting memories - eventually - eventually, grant you solace and give you lasting peace and consolation.
Sincerely, Glenn and Judy Steed

Keeping the McDonnell family and friends of Suzanne in my daily thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I will miss seeing Suzanne and catching up with her during my biweekly late night visits to the local Walgreens. You were a genuine friend and opened your arms and heart to all that crossed your path.
Rest in peace Suzanne and forever watch over your boys, Mom, family and friends from above. Until we meet again on the other side.

Here's a beautiful poem by Ralph Waldo Emerson on the meaning of living a successful life. I believe that Suzanne has succeeded in her life here on earth and loved to the fullest. May she rest in peace and fly with the angels and continue to love her two boys and all whom she loved dearly “To the moon and back”. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family and her many close friends who can certainly attest to her goodness here on earth.
What is Success?
To laugh often and much;
To win the respect of intelligent people
and the affection of children;
To earn the appreciation of honest critics
and endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty;
To find the best in others;
To leave the world a bit better, whether by
a healthy child, a garden patch
or a redeemed social condition;
To know even one life has breathed
easier because you have lived;
This is to have succeeded.

I have sat here in disbelief for days , I can’t sleep for my mind is filled with memories!
Some of the best times of my life were when we were roommates, we never had a bad day, we were family! We laughed all the time, you, myself and Josh were family and then came Jordan , I remember rushing home from work to get you to the hospital and we were so mad that I couldn’t go back with you ! How dare they only let the father back lol it should have been me, we always said that ! Suzanne my heart will always be broken by this, But all our memories are good and there are lots of them !! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you , may you find comfort

I am so saddened to hear of Sue’s passing.
She had a huge heart and smile to match it.
She always welcomed me to stay at her house when I came back to Joliet. She and Bob once made me a delicious meal and I will never forget her hospitality.
I will cherish her generosity and willingness to help with my annual Alzheimer’s fundraiser. But most of all I will miss her calling or texting me starting off with “Hi Red!”
May you Rest In Peace my friend and enjoy all the greatness of heaven now.
