Rich was as close to family as you could get for me, having moved so far away from my own. Shared his love and compassion in the way he knew best: putting me to work around the house and treating me to bbq and beer afterward. Damn his bbq was good. I’ll never forget him. He knew what he wanted from life and found joy in that every day with Mary. One day, he excitedly walked me upstairs to show me his collection of rings. After inquiring about most of them, he chose to give one to me. I will honor his memory by wearing this ring. I will remember him fondly each time it’s placed on my hand. I am lucky to have had him in my life. Love you big guy, Rest In Peace
