Karen was a cherished member of my Sunday School class in Fredonia First Baptist Church. Karen was precious ... a unique, warm person who will never be forgotten. Happy, trusting, always kind ... Karen had a genuine, unpretentious way of making people close to her feel accepted and valued. I visited Fredonia Cemetery, today. As I sometimes do, I paused to remember Mr. and Mrs. Medina. Karen's name on the monument shared with her parents and the information I was reading suddenly came info full focus. I stood ... with shock and tears .... and many wonderful memories. I am sorry for your loss. Mrs. Catherine and Mr. George, by their lives and the words they shared, are testament of true Christianity ... of the life and promise that God gives through His Son, Jesus. Mrs. Catherine shared with me about their joy and specific examples of their changed lives. May God bless Mrs. Catherine and Mr. George's family. If not already, may you find the faith that they and Karen accepted in their lives.
