Very sorry to hear about this sad news. While we haven't seen the extended family and Bob in a long while I always appreciated his leadership on the reunion and email communication. His zest for life was obvious and Bob pushed to make every day count! Someone to look up to for sure. Prayers all around.

I want to pass on my condolences to the special Caruso family and all they know who will be mourning the loss of a great person that I was blessed to know as a child. Mr. Caruso was always there for his family, and he shared that familial love with me as a friend to his children, Bob and Dan. I’ve only seen him sparingly over the years, and most recently at Jim Zaranti’s wake in Chicago Heights this past year. I was able to be with him for a while and to enjoy his wit, his beautiful personality and the way about him that makes you feel like you mean something. I will remember him in exactly this way. While I know he was a great father on earth, in faith, this great Catholic faith that I share with the Caruso family, I know that Mr. Caruso now knows exactly what we need and he’s ready to intercede for us to get us to where we are destined to be. It is an honor and a privilege to say that I know him.
