I met Len in 1994 when my wife Irene and I moved to the Desert Princess. Len and I got paired up in the golf shop and played a round together for the first time. We enjoyed each other’s company and played golf together every chance we got. The golf shop often put singles with us and we tried to make them welcome as visitors. Almost everyone that played golf with us sighed up to be with us again and we all had a good time. We even had a beer or 2??? during the round or at the 19th in the club. We became good golfing buddies and good friends. Since Len played golf more days a week than I did we agreed to call our group the Len Cox Group and that’s how it got it’s name. In later years we had up to 8 foresomes in the group. Len was a great guy and I’m really going to miss him. Bob Ripley

There are many good people in this world but a few are GREAT. Lenny was one of the great ones. Our lives were enriched by just knowing him and he was considered by us and our children to be family (and Peggy, too). The best memories we have of living at the Desert Princess all include without exception The Coxes. To say that Lenny will be missed is an understatement. He will live forever in our best and fondest memories and deep within our hearts. I pray (and I do) that Peggy and family will find a wee bit of comfort in their memories of this exceptional man and with the faith to know that one day we will all be together again. "I'll see you in my dreams.............."
