I have such happy thoughts when I think of Marianne! She had the best smile and laugh! When she was teaching behind the wheel at Morris High School, she would always stop in before driving and share stories and pictures of her grandchildren. She loved her family tremendously and I know she will be missed! My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

How can I say what my loss means? We were 11 months apart( our Mom said harder than twins). My sister, my friend …forever in my heart. Losing my older sister after losing my younger brother….to hard. We raised our babies together,God- parents to nieces, nephews. …Fun at our pool, fun in Morris at Corn Festival. Meeting up at the Gulf for summer fun. Memories that will never be forgotten

Mary Ann and I go back to Grade School at St Joe’s in Mattoon, Illinois. We both shared a love of sports and shared a locker for PE in High School. Lifeguards at the swimming pool and swim instructors. Always followed her family thru her Sister Kathy. Lost touch but have thought of her often. Great basketball player and was a great friend over 50 years ago. I pray for her family at this difficult time. May she Rest In Peace , Amen

My sincere sympathy to Denny and all the family. Marianne and I go back to when she was 15 and a sophomore at Mattoon High School. She was one of my personal references when I applied to the FBI. She and Denny came to Mattoon to visit my 97 year old mother and take her to lunch a few months before she passed away in 2019. She also came to see her a few days before she passed away. I knew Marianne had many health issues but it was a shock to read her obituary.

I shall miss my special friend Mare so much. Mare, Denny, Dave, and I shared so much over the past 50 years. We always had so much fun together. Now, Dave and Mare have left us.
Mare and I also had our own adventures. We shopped (& shopped & shopped), traveled, antiqued, went out to eat, and enjoyed many Manhattans together. We shared many joys and many challenges over the years.
I won’t ever again answer my phone and hear, “Hello Charlene” and that makes me so very sad. Love you Mare
