When our class of 1974 went to Six Flags near St. Louis for a class trip, myself and another student were an hour late getting back to the bus to leave because we had our return time confused. When the school decided we should be punished by not being allowed to go see Romeo and Juliet, the movie, Mrs. Reilly stood up for us and defended us since it was an honest mistake even though neither one of us were her kids. We still didn't get to go to the movie but that act of kindness endeared her to my heart forever. Rest easy Mrs. Reilly in God's care.
