I never had the privilege to meet Duane but from all I heard from Mary, who is his wife and my supervisor, he was a very strong-willed man who fought the battle to remain alive and he was there for everyone, especially his family and and friends. His smile would be considered a healing force to many people around him. We will all miss that.
My prayer for the family is that the Lord will continue to keep them together and meet them at the point of their needs.
