My mom and I always saw Keith on our walks. He inspired us most days to go walk and get outside! He was such a kind soul, and always had a smile and a greeting for everyone he passed by. We will miss our walking buddy. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Rest in peace, Keith.

I was very fortunate to have met Keith while working with him at Jewel foods several years ago.
He would come by our department and smile and share a positive note for each day.
Once I got to know Keith, he became a friend.
He would come to our home for dinner, or come for a swim in our pool. My 2 sons at the time were in their early teens, they really enjoyed his company as well!
One of my coworkers also became a friend of Keith's.
We would often go out to dinner with him. He always wanted to go shopping at Target afterwards. He loved music, he really enjoyed looking at CD's, especially at
Carry Underwood CD's
( not sure if it was her voice or her looks : ).
We( my coworker and I were also fortunate enough to join him for his 30th birthday) we were invited to his home for his party. He was sure happy at his party!
As been noted, "to know Keith is to love him".
He was a very, very special person and friend. He will sincerely be missed !

I was fortunate to interact with Keith whenever I shopped at Mariano's. Keith's smile and cheery disposition meant a lot to me, especially on trying days. He could change that day's tempo for the better. I last saw him on Saturday as he went past the deli section, saying hi to his colleagues and customers. It's hard to fathom that we won't see him at Mariano's anymore. His friends, family, and colleagues are in my thoughts and prayers.

I met Keith through shopping at Jewel. He always had a smile and a great attitude. His saying was “it’s a great day to be alive” I started shopping at Mariano’s when he started working there. I have no doubt he brought joy to everyone he encountered. His presence will truly be missed. May he rest in peace

I WAS INSTANTLY SHOCKED AND SADDENED WHEN I SAW KEITH'S PICTURE ON PAGE 9 TODAY. I MET KEITH ABOUT SEVEN YEARS AGO WHEN I DROVE HIM TO/FROM PHYSICAL THERAPY WHEN I WAS A MEDCAR DRIVER FOR KURTZ. I RECOGNIZED HIM AS THE SAME GUY WHO WALKED ON PEBBLE BEACH AND WORKED AT JEWEL. i USED TO BEEP AND WAVE AT KEITH WHEN I SAW HIM WALKING AND WE WOULD ALWAYS TALK WHEN I SAW HIM AT JEWEL. I REMEMEMBER ON A BEAUTIFUL DAY HE SAID: "IT'S A GREAT DAY TO BE ALIVE!".

My heart sank when I read the news of Keith's passing in the paper today. I didn't know Keith personally, but we crossed paths many times over the last 20 years when I shopped at Jewel or Mariano's. He was such a bright light. I recall many times stopping by the store on my way home from work after a tough day, and his positive, enthusiastic personality and kind words helped lift my spirits and made me smile. I feel blessed to have met him. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends, and I will be lifting you up in prayer in the days and weeks ahead.

We are so sad to see that Keith has passed away. We saw his obituary in the paper. We never knew his name but we surely knew him from the many, many times he loaded our car or said hello while collecting carts. His happy personality shown through every time with his bright smile and positive greeting. Please know what a wonderful impact he had on all of us shoppers!! We pray for his family at this difficult time. ❤️

I did not know Keith personally but always saw him walking in the neighborhood as well as when I would go to the store. He was definitely a staple in our community that we all adored. His outgoing and happy personality always made everyone’s day. He has impacted more lives than you can count by just being who he was. I hope he is smiling down on all of us and is happy in his final resting place and know he lived a life full of meaning.

I have so many memories because I've known you for so long. I met you the summer before 7th grade. You just moved in across the street from Vince. We had crushes on each other and what not. We all hung out at the pool all day. Then you picked on me all of 7th grade. By 8th grade, we were all the best of buds. You, me, Jose, Bryan, mando. Heck, even Ronny sometimes. We all had that long running unbreakable bond until highschool started and new friends were made. We still always had the same crowd. From the highschool parties, to hanging out after highschool and then you moved and the car accident happened. You were a miracle Keith. I don't think any of us expected you to survive, but you did. You were such a beautiful soul Keith. If it weren't for your maintained close friendship with Joe, I would have lost touch with you long ago. I'm forever grateful to Joe for being such a great friend to you, and by doing so it kept your presence in my life. Most of our crazy memories of the dumb things we all did as kids don't belong here, but they will always be close to my heart. I know we're getting older, but it's still too soon for you to leave. You lit up the room Keith. You will be missed dearly by many.

My heart aches for your loss, I’m so sorry! Keith was very special to me, as I picked him up and gave him a ride to where ever he was going! We laughed a lot and he even cried one day after he was let go from Jewel! He was loved by so many people! I always looked forward to seeing him on pebble beach, with that smile and yelling across the street to me, “ Have a blessed day “ or “Go Cubbies “! Knowing also of his February 20th birthday he would always ask me if I remembered and then proceeded to drill me on , “Ok what day is it then “? Then he would give me the big smile when I got it right! Thank you Keith for making me laugh, and for being real! I’m going to miss you so much!!!
