I have known this wonderful family for over 20 years and have valued their friendship. Linda was one of the most meticulous individuals I have ever known. She was an outstanding teacher and supporter of education and her children. I was always amazed at how much she studied taxation and investing even though it was not her field of expertise.
Prayers to Larry and the children

Thinking of you all and knowing there were as many open arms in heaven eagerly welcoming Lynda home as there are people here who will miss her every day. Our lives were greatly enriched having known her.

What do you say when you lose a friend of 65 plus years who you met the first time when the little girl came down and played in your sandbox and she had curls which her brother called night crawlers and I had curls which he called fish worms, you car pooled through high school and you were her maid of honor. There's nothing I can say to express my feelings of loss for my Lynda. I am glad we got to get together a few years ago to remember the good times we had. With love, prayers and good memories always. Tho I was near13 yrs.old, I was blessed w/ a "live doll". Couldn't wait to help take care of her esp. buggie rides. Years later she told me I was another "Mom". Thru the years I tried to teach her all I knew. We liked a lot of the same things & our families shared some real special times. She accomplished so much
In her lifetime. A very busy person w/ a good heart. She counted on her God for strength, until He called her home. Will always Love my Lil' Sis. God Bless fj Larry and all their Family who were devoted to her care.

Lynda was the Program Coordinator for the ExxonMobil Retiree Club of Joliet.
She arranged for buses taking us to Wisconsin or Chicago on various fun trips.
Since her illness, we have not had such exciting events, but we try. We surely
do miss her.

I have so many wonderful memories to share but the first one that popped up into my head was one from when my daughter Lyndsie was in her first grade class at River View Elementary. Lynda always referred to herself as old as dirt when the children asked how old she was. When we were on our summer trip to upstate New York to visit relatives we were in a gift shop and Lyndsie found a rock that said old as dirt on it! She was so excited and had to have it and couldn’t wait until school started so she could give it to Mrs Sheuber!!
My daughter loved Lynda and followed in her footsteps to become a teacher!
As Lynda would say “You can never have too much glitter!”
Rest in peace my wonderful dear friend!
