I am sorry to hear about the passing of Jim. He was a machine operator/fixer when I started in Special Services (mailroom) over 27 years ago at Northern Illinois Gas Company, now Nicor Gas. Jim was a great guy who liked to get his work done but also have fun in the process. I will miss his humor, chuckle, and his vast knowledge and expertise of just about anything. Jim was truly a one of a kind friend/colleague and will be missed by all that knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Jim during this difficult and heartbreaking time. Rest in peace Jim!

Kathy and John, I don’t know what to even say about the loss of Jimmy. I have know him my whole life from our Laraway days and Joliet East. I just saw him at the steam engine show. I’m out of town this week so I won’t be able to attend his services. I will plant a tree in his name. I’m so sorry .

My sincere condolences to Teri, Jim’s mom and all of his family!
Jim was a fantastic co-worker. He was well respected in our group as he brought a wealth of experience to the team. I personally enjoyed the way he used humor in a lot of situations. It helped to ease frustrations at times. Jim will truly be missed. As I know you all are, I’m still shocked by this news but I’m glad to know that Jim was not in any pain. May God continue to comfort you all during this difficult time.
Love,
Pam
