Daryl was a co-worker and family friend of mine at Michaels Pizza in Joliet. We are all devastated from the loss of our beloved friend Daryl. He will forever be missed and will never be forgotten. I am happy to say I had the opportunity to have Daryl in my life and receive some of his amazing art work. I would like to light this candle in memory of one of my favorite people to work with and an amazing employee who is dearly missed.
Mitch our prayers and thoughts are with you now and always.
We know you and Daryl had a special brotherly love for one another and that will always remain within your heart.
Love you!
Bill and Maggie
How do you say goodbye to someone who never did anything other than make you smile. I guess that you don't because they are a part of you and/or your life forever. He blessed so many people's lives including mine. I cannot recall any day spent with him when he didn't smile and make me smile. He was and always will be an inspiration to me because, he set an example in ways that others find too hard or unnecessary. Because of him I know that Goals of having loving impact on the world are possible in more ways then we could ever know. Rest Peacefully Daryl, I know I will see you again one day. My condolences to the DeLand family and friends. I will be praying for you all.
Daryl and I were not the best of friends but friends none the less.... He is one of my first memories from senior year... I was new to the school and area and Daryl definitely made that a lot easier... He was an amazing person and he will forever be missed
